This is the presentation that @Incabell @samu-wmde and me prepared for our short talk at re:publica (parts also based on a presentation on Gender diversity in Free Software @GretaD and I did together. We will also present this at FOSS Backstage (with @camilasan too).
With slight updates so it reflects the current state, and so it can be used by anyone to present the initiative.

We all seem to have the same goal of making free & open source software more inclusive and diverse, and having a project-independent hub for people to gather – so let’s team up :) (Open Source Design works similarly and it’s pretty cool!)
