We can make reading the changelog and release notes on GitHub a better experience while keeping the current format by making a few minor changes.
Changelog: before -> after Release notes: before -> after
Note: I have made the changes in multiple commits instead of a single commit so that it is easier for you to review. If I had made one commit, then the diff view on GitHub would look as if the entire file has been changed.
Edit: you will need to update the ChangeLog reference in release.sh file. I would have made the changes myself, but I am not very familiar with bash scripting
