display problems with prepend/append inputs and fluid + responsive layout

Created by: senny

I try to use the prepend/append inputs in a fluid + responsive layout but it seems that there are some display problems. I set up an example to illustrate my findings:

Screenshot: http://jsfiddle.net/z8unH/8/embedded/result/ And the live-fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/z8unH/8/

The small gap is caused by whitespace. Around the input-prepend tag. Not sure if this can be fixed. I could also control the whitespace generated by my application to work around this issue.

The wrapping is a bigger problem though. It occurs when I add a spanX class to the input.
