Bootstrap Theme: btn hovers are missing

Bootstrap has been my goto for projects like app prototypes, administrative interfaces, and learning tools. It's been a great out-of-the-box solution for front end basics, especially with those juicy buttons (the primary reason I've hardly even considered Foundation, scoffs).

I understand that the new Boostrap 3 release is oriented more towards "framework" folk and less toward "solution" folk like myself. Towards that end, I uber-appreciate the BS2 theme that has been assembled as a usability upgrade.

Now I've got one last whiny nitpick: I am wondering if there are plans to bring back those magical button hover states from BS2, or if I should plan on cobbling together my own. Currently there is no hover response over at http://getbootstrap.com/examples/theme/

I'm not sure if this is a bug report or feature request.
