Spiking out an option for #31330 (closed) to add some live examples of alerts (toasts are already there). Ideally we could include more JS folks could copy-pasta to use in their own environments, so hoping to get some help cleaning up the additions in application.js because right now it's not the best and doesn't scale beyond this one demo.
