What is this Python project?

You can create reports and dashboard that update dynamically in the browser, using a straightforward consistent pythonic API.

You've got charts, you've got tables, you have markdown, and more. What else can you ask for?

What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?

The project may be compared mostly to Dash and bowtie.

  • The API choices made in awe are different than those in the projects mentioned above.
  • The API is more focused on quickly adding and changing content and is not focused around interactivity at all (which bowtie and Dash focus on greatly). It is supported in awe though, but not as convenient or rich.
  • Installation and usage are a pip install away.
  • Export to static html at anytime (directly from the dashboard)
