What is this Python project?

It's a framework to pake processing pipelines in python. A pipeline is made of stages, the stages do the same things but in a different way. In a pipeline object you create a method where you specify in high level what you want to do. The automagics im metaclass transforms that method to be called for ecery stage in a loop.

This framework is suitable only to sequential pipelines, not to graphs with multiple dependencies.

What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?

there are tons of such frameworks, so I haven't researched that much.
